Race 1 – 12:39PM TABTOUCH – BETTER YOUR CLUB MAIDEN (1200 METRES)

Some promising customers lining up in this 2YO Maiden with DUNBAR standing out as the horse to beat. This Peters Investments-owned $70,000 yearling purchase couldn’t have done more in his Belmont 11/05 trial win, showing gate speed, travelling strongly on top of the speed and stretching out stylishly to win by 4.8L. Should land in a commanding running position from this low draw and let down too well. DAD’S BIGHEADED and KALLAROO produced similar runs behind the smart Kissonallfourcheeks last start, and that form is strong, while keep an eye out for LUNAR IMPACT on debut.

Tips: 3-2-8-4
Suggested: 3. DUNBAR win.

3. DUNBAR
2. KALLAROO
8. LUNAR IMPACT
4. THE SPRUIKER

Race 2 – 1:14PM HYGAIN – FEEDING CHAMPIONS SINCE 1983 MAIDEN (1200 METRES)

Expecting the market to favour the William Pike-ridden BLACK LIGHTNING, but opting to lock in first starter CITY INVASION on top. Really liked the way he took care of business in his Bunbury 4/05 trial win and from the low draw, really should find a sweet running position stalking the leading pair. With a nice smother in transit this fellow can run over the top of them late. Black Lightning found the rail in front first up and was out-muscled late. Should elevate further and if she leads again, will naturally take some catching, while HINCHINMOSE and BONROCA can challenge for the first four without surprising.

Tips: 4-6-3-2
Suggested: 4. CITY INVASION win.

4. CITY INVASION
6. BLACK LIGHTNING
3. HINCHINMOSE
2. BONROCA

Race 3 – 1:49PM #FORTHELOVEOFYOURLOCAL MAIDEN (2000 METRES)

Compelled to go once again with FREQUENT FRIAR. Have been very keen on him at his past two outings and while he hasn’t been able to get the job done, he doesn’t look far away from putting it all together. Back on a Good track and with additional race experience, Frequent Friar deserves one more chance. ALBY’S PRIDE loomed to win last start and couldn’t quite counter Rhythm Star late. Improving every time he goes to the races and is showing some staying potential. RIDING HOOD FAME was huge in defeat last start, when three wide/no cover the entire, while LOVE STRIKES should’ve gone close to winning last week.

Tips: 4-5-6-8
Suggested: 4. FREQUENT FRIAR win.

4. FREQUENT FRIAR
5. ALBY’S PRIDE
6. RIDING HOOD FAME
8. LOVE STRIKES

Race 4 – 2:24PM CARLTON UNITED BREWERY MAIDEN (1400 METRES)

Really taken with the debut effort from KINDER KINDER and she looks a fairly obvious on-top selection. Did win a Bunbury 20/04 trial, so the first-up result wasn’t completely unexpected, but for her to pull so much late ground off Trutiara and gap the third placegetter by 4.1L confirmed the merit of the performance. Kept out of trouble by Renee Forrest, Kinder Kinder should get it done. SWIFT GONDO will have a heap of admirers also. Has been knocking on the door and gives herself every chance up on top of the speed. RUN D’AFFAIRE RUN maps sweetly, blinkers go on KING CABERNET third up, while SNOW BAMBOO can rebound second up.

Tips: 11-15-3-4
Suggested: 11. KINDER KINDER win.

11. KINDER KINDER
15. SWIFT GONDO
3. RUN D’AFFAIRE RUN
4. KING CABERNET
9. SNOW BAMBOO

Race 5 – 3:00PM ELECTRICAL CONSULTANCY WA HANDICAP (1500 METRES)

Front-running 3YO GINGER FLYER is going to give them something to chase. Was brave in defeat over the mile at Ascot 2/05 when breezing outside leader on top of a fast tempo and still boxing on late into third place. If she holds up in front from gate one, she really should control proceedings from there. Consistent on-pace mare FAIREDU had the bar plates on last start, but still ran well over this journey. Gets a handy 3kg off with the stable apprentice and maps ideally also. FINGERMARK is a competitor and a lock for your exotics, while YEAH BRAVO looks suited having been performing well for a new stable.

Tips: 7-3-2-6
Suggested: 7. GINGER FLYER win.

7. GINGER FLYER
3. FAIREDU
2. FINGERMARK
6. YEAH BRAVO

Race 6 – 3:35PM MURRAY VETERINARY SERVICES HANDICAP (1500 METRES)

This is quite a deep race, but sticking with the white-hot Michael Lane stable and TRADENSIA. This filly got a bit keen early-and-middle last start and that appeared to impact her ability to finish off when a $3.10 fave, but perhaps that was the hard run she needed to bring her further forward. Anticipating positive tactics from the draw and Tradensia has the class. COSTA DEL SANTO was dominant in his second-up win, coming from last and circling the field. Just needs an uninterrupted passage from gate one. FIRESALE held his own in town and has to rate highly back on his home deck, while big watch on last start Geraldton winner SLUICE BOX.

Tips: 5-2-3-6
Suggested: 5. TRADENSIA win.

5. TRADENSIA
2. COSTA DEL SANTO
3. FIRESALE
6. BOMBARDMENT

Race 7 – 4:10PM SPONSOR A RACE @PINJARRA PARK HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

Found it hard to look past smart first-up maiden winner BALLADEER. The NSW import travelled sweetly in running on that occasion and worked to the line far too strongly for the odds-on Hip Wiggle, saluting with authority. If he can hold a forward-mid running position from gate one, he’ll be close enough to impact late. TRUTIARA is another coming off a particularly impressive maiden win and must be respected. Just not sure she will find the rail in front from this draw. Have an opinion of first-upper CHIEF ARCHER, lookout for him launching late, while the likely leader MICHELLE MA BELLE appears suited back to 1200m.

Tips: 3-8-1-6
Suggested: 3. BALLADEER win.

3. BALLADEER
8. TRUTIARA
1. CHIEF ARCHER
6. MICHELLE MA BELLE

Race 8 – 4:45PM WWW.PINJARRAPARK.COM.AU HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

This looks the right race for TRAKIATO. First-up result was better than it reads and he was one of a number of runners who was held up noticeably in a bunched finished over 1100m at Ascot 9/05. Should’ve gone close to winning there, so the signs are positive, and he does look suited from gate one rising to 1200m at his third run in. SHERPA LASS has more than her share of ability, but a high draw and 60.5kg does make this a decent challenge at her first outing in 46 days. NEXT STOP THE MOON is a query at the 1200m, but always gives a sight out in front, while LIDO BEACH looks suited dropping in class third up.

Tips: 6-4-3-5
Suggested: 6. TRAKIATO each way.

6. TRAKIATO
4. SHERPA LASS
3. NEXT STOP THE MOON
5. STORMY RULER
