Race 1 – 12:29PM CROWN PERTH PLATE (1000 METRES)
After a shock scratching from last Saturday’s Belgravia Stakes, superstar filly CLAIRVOYANCE is back in action and looks set to continue on her winning way. The bar shoe that was on last week has been taken off, which is significant, as is the extra week to recover from the hoof issue which troubled her following a brilliant 3YO Classic win. Expecting her to find the rail in front and simply be too fast. The best of CHARLETON EDDIE is pretty darn good though and he’ll strip much fitter following his first-up outing. Still not sure he can lay a glove on Clairvoyance though. CHANTORQUE has talent, but this is a step up, while ELIMINATE is well-regarded and should be hitting the line.
Suggested: 1. CHARLETON EDDIE win.

3. ALL DAY SESSION
4. OUR DANNI

Race 2 – 1:15PM TABTOUCH – WESTSPEED PLATINUM SERIES HEAT 2 (1200 METRES)
Reckon LACEVINSKY is just about ready to produce. Specked at each-way odds ($15 to $11) last Saturday, the effort was certainly there and he probably should’ve finished a length or so closer after some traffic issues in the straight. Goes best for Paddy Carbery, maps suitably from this low draw and the quick backup should have him primed. TIME TO SIZZLE looks the likely fave and is certainly the horse to beat. Dynamite 1000m horse, but the 1200m has to be a slight query, as does the 33 days between runs. Tactics from this mid draw will be interesting also, while MORGS FREEMAN and WESTERN RHYTHM maps rearwards, but both should be running on with strength late.
Suggested: 1. LACEVINSKY win.
2. TIME TO SIZZLE
6. MORGS FREEMAN
11. WESTERN RHYTHM
Race 3 – 2:02PM AMELIA PARK HANDICAP (1800 METRES)
Expected big things from TRULY GREAT when he returned to racing at Ascot 10/10 and he certainly delivered, overcoming a less than ideal race-shape with outstanding closing speed and recording a statement win. Likely to land midfield from this low draw and a faster-than-average tempo should allow him the galloping room he requires to work through his gears. Stands out and should be winning again. BRITISH BESSY relished a return to Ascot two weeks back, attacking the line with fresh legs in a blanket finish. Best form puts her right in the finish. No Ryan Hill on BEAUCOUNT but he simply won too well to ignore over this track/distance last start, while the Hill-ridden RED HOT TIP is a major player, however, pads going on is never ideal.
Suggested: 5. TRULY GREAT win.
5. TRULY GREAT
10. BRITISH BESSY
4. RED HOT TIP
Race 4 – 2:37PM ALL FLAGS SIGNS AND BANNERS HANDICAP (1600 METRES)
Keen on HEAVEN’S GIFT. This mare emerged as a serious talent in the winter with Belmont Oaks and Belmont Classic placings, and was a bit stiff not to go close to winning when resuming in this grade over 1400m two weeks back. This draw allows Jarrad Noske to have her closer in transit and with an uninterrupted run, Heaven’s Gift should be able to take care of these. Gangemi Racing have gone for a gear and riding change with their raw-but-talented 5YO NOTORIOUS ONE. Needs galloping room, so the low draw may prove problematic, but he still has to be considered a winning chance. DECEPTION GAME is holding form and gets a suitable run on top of the speed, while capable 4YOs GLAMOUR PACKED and MIDNIGHT BLUE will both be doing their best work late.
Suggested: 4. HEAVEN’S GIFT win.
4. HEAVEN’S GIFT
7. NOTORIOUS ONE
1. DECEPTION GAME
6. GLAMOUR PACKED
2. MIDNIGHT BLUE
Race 5 – 3:15PM SEACORP HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
Ended up rolling with the class in TOMMY BLUE. Joined the Simon A. Miller yard and enjoyed a terrific summer/autumn campaign, winning at Ascot and placing in a Magic Millions 3YO Classic. Looked the goods in a Lark Hill 19/10 trial win and with an in-form Brad Parnham on board, Tommy Blue will give this a nudge. Like this placement from Team Casey with SASSY TRADER. 3YOs have been winning regularly in Graduation company recently and coming forward off a solid first-up effort, he can impact from the low draw dropping 4kg. RIVER BEAU tested out the barrier blanket in a mid-prep trial at Lark Hill 19/10 win and the stable is obviously hoping that helps with his raceday manners, MISS FROST was excellent in a similar event first up and NOBELIUM could surprise at a price.
Suggested: 5. TOMMY BLUE win.

2. RIVER BEAU
7. MISS FROST

Race 6 – 3:50PM QUAYCLEAN HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
Compelled to go again with COMES A TIME. Found him last week when having his first outing for the Justin Warwick stable and he didn’t let his supporters down, controlling the race from outside leader and holding rivals at bay late. Has the upside to match it at this level, Warwick runners tend to thrive on the quick backup and Comes A Time maps sweetly from this low draw. NICCOVI was brilliant when returning from injury in s very fast 1000m race two weeks back. Dusted off some ring rust and with any luck she’s going to be very hard to beat. Free-wheeling front runner SOME SORT will attack from his high draw and give them something to catch, while the likes of SHERPA LASS and SWEET DREAMIN’ are capable of fighting out the finish also.
Suggested: 10. COMES A TIME win.

Race 7 – 4:25PM TABTOUCH – PRINCE OF WALES STAKES (1000 METRES)
STAGEMAN can continue his march towards the Winterbottom Stakes. Third to Flirtini and Misty Metal in this event last year, this 6YO appears to be a superior version of himself in 2020, knocking off Cup Night to claim the Black Heart Bart Stakes first up before a brilliant Crawford Stakes minor placing. Does settle worse than midfield early, but with an uninterrupted passage Stageman will launch late. Simon A. Miller has reached for the blinkers to help sharpen up stable star VALOUR ROAD, but this won’t be an easy steer for apprentice Chloe Azzopardi. MALIBU STYLE and ROCK MAGIC are both back from the each coast and their class will take them a long way, while EEYORE WAYZ is racing a mile out of his grade, but does possess some weapons that serve him well over the 1000m.
Suggested: 5. STAGEMAN win.
4. VALOUR ROAD
2. MALIBU STYLE
1. ROCK MAGIC
9. EEYORE WAYZ
Race 8 – 5:00PM HOSEMASTERS – ASIAN BEAU STAKES (1400 METRES)
Confident RED CAN MAN gives this an almighty shake. No horse worked harder in the Black Heart Bart Stakes, and he was mighty in the Northerly Stakes last start when sitting outside an outrageously fast speed and somehow managing to be beaten only 2.8L. This is a better set up for Red Can Man, who should be able to control things from out in front, and the closing splits he’s capable of running makes it hard for those behind him. CUP NIGHT was awesome in the Northerly also and that searching hitout should have him primed for this. Huge fan of INSPIRATIONAL GIRL and she’ll start favourite but this lw draw means she may encounter traffic issues, MEDIA BARON should be just about ready to fire third up, while once TAXAGANO finds form he generally holds on to it.
Suggested: 4. RED CAN MAN win.
4. RED CAN MAN
3. CUP NIGHT
9. INSPIRATIONAL GIRL
6. MEDIA BARON
Race 9 – 5:35PM BYRON BAY PREMIUM LAGER HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
Plenty of options in the final event of the day and have opted to speculate on gifted first-upper KARIJINI AURORA. Was a real surprise packet in the winter, running third to Kay Cee and Laverrod in the Raconteur Stakes, before being almost a good thing beat in the Belmont Guineas. Like the way she stretched out in her Lark Hill 19/10 trial and with her level of class, expecting her to be going close down on 54kg. SPILLINOVA ran into a good one in Inspirational Girl this track/distance last start. Trust that formline and he must be considered. POSITION OF POWER lands on top of the speed and will take some beating as always, while comeback 5YOs THE FUGAZI and TRUE ATTRACTION both have to command respect.
Suggested: 12. KARIJINI AURORA win.
12. KARIJINI AURORA
9. POSITION OF POWER
14. THE FUGAZI
6. TRUE ATTRACTION
