ASHANTI LASS (4) started favourite last week at the track when finishing third. The mare is well weighted in this event. THE CRUEL SEA (2) has been racing well and if he can overcome the wide draw he will figure again.

The feature race of the day looks an even contest. KRONFELD (4) has been well specked at all three runs back this preparation however is yet to win. The Murtajill gelding steps up to the mile today which looks to suit. The four year old won in open company over the mile last preparation. The Peter Fernie trained RAFFERTY (1) saluted last start. The More Than Ready gelding looks well placed but keep in mind he has not won beyond 1400m. LOW TIDE (2) is the interesting galloper engaged and is well weighted in the event. JETCETERA (9) races well locally and steps up for the first time to open company.

Former Kalgoorlie based jockey Misty Bazeley will partner the five year old mare today. Esperance galloper DIGGERS FORTUNE (10) rocketed to the line last start going down by a narrow margin. A similar performance from the five year old will see him go close.

The last of the day is an open affair over the 1300m. CROWN SAGA (7) looks one of the main chances coming off a second placed performance behind the inform Dark Royalty. Ben Kennedy will be looking to continue his good form on the Bel Esprit mare. Elvstroem gelding DARADALE (3) has drawn a better barrier today and should prove hard to beat.
