Five winners to Western Australian based stallions yesterday at Belmont. Mungrup Stud took the honours with three winners from three of their stallions, Oratorio, Due Sasso and Danehill Express, while Lynward Park’s Trade Fair continues his good run of late scoring a double.
The highest price winner on the day was Castle Retreat ($60,000), a two year old gelding by Oratorio out of the very smart race mare Clarecastle.
What a bargain buy Korenica (PI $1,000 or $2,000) has been for his connections. He is now a winner of $68,350 prize money.
