The Simon Miller trained Liberty’s Gem has beaten rival Malibu Style for the third time from just five starts, despite the Parnham galloper giving him another solid challenge.
After trialling on the 7th of April, Liberty’s Gem was racing first up and despite Miller openly discussing that the three year old by Statue Of Liberty might need a run, performed very well to win today.
Malibu Style for Neville Parnham performed incredibly well again, after racing outside of the favourite, exposed to cover slightly more ground. After a brilliant victory on the 11th of April, Malibu Style looks set for another campaign to establish his star power after stealing ground late from the winner today.
Cadenza was well supported and ran soundly back in third, whilst Manhattan Cat threatened but ultimately peaked on the run.
Liberty’s Gem won in 1.10.46 and by a long neck, claiming his fourth race from five starts.
