Apprentice Jordan Turner has landed an early double with Hey Bro saluting nicely ahead of Aerozine at Belmont this afternoon. Racing first up today, Hey Bro was coming off a very impressive four length trial victory back on Monday the 11th of May and ostensibly thrived off the short back up.
Aerozine was very well supported into favouritism and in hindsight was a superb performance when basically assaulted on-speed by the opposition, but did very well to hold second.
Flying Zoe for Adam Durrant impressed first up, running home into third, signalling a promising campaign to come. Both Very Special and Nightingale Road disappointed after seemingly good runs in transit, whilst Lord Balthazar was excellent again with a late burst.
Hey Bro won in 58.77 and by 1.25 lengths, to take his career tally to four victories from 18 starts.
