Trainers:  CHRIS GANGEMI and his team have enjoyed a rich vein of success over the last few months and again displayed their depth with Battle Hero showing no signs of training off when dominant throughout in the Listed Cyril Flower Stakes 1200m, before his Starcraft 5yo Jingtang notched up it’s 5th career win when easily accounting for rivals in the penultimate. Not to be denied, the ADAM DURRANT stable has also been red hot and continued their stellar form with Magic Planet winning it’s maiden in the opener, before Miracle Man took charge from its handy position in transit to secure a tidy victory in the Listed Lex Piper Stakes 1600m.

Jockeys: JARRAD NOSKE had a handful of horse on the turn with Battle Hero making light work of its 60kg impost to crush rivals in the Cyril Flower Stakes after leading throughout. On pace was where you wanted to be on Saturday, and PETER KNUCKEY had Miracle Man placed perfectly outside the leader before shooting clear for a fine win in the Lex Piper Stakes.

WA Stallions: 3 of 8 winners were bred by local stallions.
